The Ajax MultiTransmitter allows you to add your existing wired alarm sensors to the Ajax system.

This effectively gives you a hybrid system which connects your current wired alarm detectors to an Ajax Hub. It also allows you to add new wireless Ajax devices. Therefore, both existing wired and new wireless devices can be managed from the Ajax App with full Ajax functionality.

Warranty

The warranty for Ajax devices is valid for two years after the purchase date and does not apply to the supplied battery.

The Byrna HD launcher has a 1-year warranty. Using third-party projectiles or CO2 canisters with your Byrna HD will void your warranty.

Description

The MultiTransmitter has 18 wired zones.

Compatible with the Ajax Hub, Hub Plus, Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus.

Communicates with a hub via an encrypted Jeweller radio protocol.

Features

Each wired device/zone can be labelled on the App. Therefore, push notifications can inform you when and where the alarm has been triggered.

The wired detectors which are connected to the MultiTransmitter zones benefit from Ajax features. This includes, entry and exit delays, “always active”, siren activation and automation scenarios, all of which can be controlled by the user from the Ajax App.

There are five types of alarms available: intrusion, fire, medical assistance, panic button and gas alarm.

Principle of operation

The MultiTransmitter has a power cable, but during electricity loss, a backup battery can provide power to the wired devices. It is also equipped with two tamper switches which alert the user when it is removed from its mount or when the lid is opened.

Please note: the MultiTransmitter does not come with the 12V backup battery.
