Chris went more than the extra mile to assist in clarifying all my questions. The service I got from him was excellent, and I strongly recommend Amatron.

  I ordered an Ajax security system online from Amatron - Their prices were the best I could find and the service was great.  I had to return a few items I did not require and Amatron arranged for their courier company to collect and return at no cost and refunded me within 24 hours after having received the items.   Ajax is a wonderful alarm system. It’s easy to install (DIY, really) as there are no wires. It survives load shedding and has no false alarms. Then, Chris gives technically sound AND honest advice. He won’t sell you stuff you might not need.

Olarm is DIY and easy to self-install.

Control your alarm system from wherever you are. Olarm turns your phone into an extra alarm keypad. The Olarm device easily plugs into your current alarm system and the App allows you to:

Turn your alarm on and off.
Bypass certain zones.
Receive push notifications when the status of your alarm changes.
Check which zones have been triggered with the activity log in real time.
Send a panic alert to your alarm form your smart phone.
Have multiple users (1 Primary user and 47 additional Secondary users).
Set custom alerts in case you forget to set your alarm.
Olarm runs off the alarm panels’ power and back up battery during load-shedding.

This makes your existing alarm smarter at a fraction of the cost. You can now digitally manage your alarm system remotely when you are away from your home or business, giving you peace of mind.

FEATURES

Bypass a zone temporarily, when a plant is blowing in the wind, causing multiple false alarms while you are away for the weekend. Or simple check that you turned your alarm on when you were rushing to leave the house.

Olarm supports alarm panels like Paradox, DSC, Texecom and IDS. Please note, the alarm panel is not the keypad. The alarm panel is the metal box that is usually installed in a hidden location in the house such as a cupboard.

PRICES

1. There are two cost involved. A once off cost to purchase the Olarm device which can be made HERE.

2. A monthly subscription is charged for the data and dual sim cards (which are built into the device). The subscription can be purchased on the App, once the device has been installed. There are three subscription packages to choose from:

- 6 Months subscription – R349
- 1 Year subscription – R649 (save 7%)
- 2 Year subscription – R1099 (save 21%)

Please note that the WiFi connection to the Olarm device is only a back-up to the primary GSM SIM card connections.
