The Ajax “Apartment Starter Kit” includes:

• 1 x Ajax Hub 2 (4G)
• 1 x MotionProtect
• 1 x DoorProtect
• 1 x SpaceControl
• 1 x HomeSiren
• 1 x Vodacom or MTN sim card with 100MB per month for 24 months (no contract).

We selected the Hub 2 for this kit as it receives firmware updates and gives you the option of adding photo verification devices at a later stage. Place the MotionProtect PIR in the room where the Hub is located and the DoorProtect on the front door.

The indoor HomeSiren suits an apartment setup, as it gives a loud beeping noise which indicates that the system has been triggered, but won’t disturb the neighbours.

The sim card acts as a back-up in case your internet connection goes down.
